⠀⠀⠀⠀"mikasa ackerman is
⠀⠀obsessed with eren jaeger."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⏤a thread

i will elaborate how do i respon to that statement here. first of all it all thanks to my friend @ErenHasLice. he suggested me that this moment deserved its own thread so i tried to make it.
we always say antis go around saying that mikasa is obsessed with eren, a slave to eren, and such. as a mika stan, i will answer them straight and clear that she is not what they thought she is.

but if i'm responding to that statement as a plain aot fan, my respon would be,
"where can i see mikasa being all that to eren?" because i really need to see what they see and how could they come with their point. but if i read the manga million times, i couldnt find what they meant. where is this mikasa being obsessed and slave?

let's elaborate it.
(1) mikasa ackerman in her 9yo are taken into jaeger's household after her parents were murdered.
(2) as i said in my mika development thread that not only the jaegers provided her home, but also love.
(3) mikasa ackerman has huge respect to both jaeger parents.
hold on to that three main points.

then we can see it here:
little mika is concerned for both carla and eren. and then carla said, ".. so help him out if he gets in trouble."

little mika with all of her will said, "i will!"
and then we also have this:

which counts as carla's last words to both eren and mikasa.
okay, now hold on to that 2 manga panels which have two strong messages for both eren and mikasa, especially mikasa since carla talked with her alone.
and now we can see what has mikasa ackerman been doing all this time throughout the manga:
(1) helping levi to capture eren back from annie.
to point it out, basically saving eren in every chance she got whether it is an assist fight or helping eren personally through emotions.
saving, helping, protecting him from all the troubles he faced.

just like carla said, "..so help him out if he gets in trouble."

"eren! mikasa! survive!!!!"

and then carla was eaten by dina the smiling titan. and they both lost their mother, that day.
it's a short thread. thank you so much for reading! 🤍 dont forget to check out my mikasa development thread ✨ https://twitter.com/MlKASACKERMAN/status/1292742914821390336?s=19
