Diversifying the pipeline IS NOT the same thing as diversifying your pool of applicants, which is why statements of commitment to diversity and inclusion are bullshit imo.

Everyone wants to "make" Black and Brown folx aware of opportunities like that& #39;s groundbreaking WITHOUT accepting the fact that their institution upholds systemic racism in how they evaluate individuals in the first place.

That& #39;s not groundbreaking, that& #39;s racist. Try again.
I& #39;m really just like... "okay, you told me about this job opportunity... are you about hire me for the job though?" Like some people honestly think they are doing God& #39;s work by just telling Black and Brown folx that their institution exists. That is *literally* the bare minimum.
Imagine thinking that anti-Black racism equates to *only* telling Black folx about a job that exists.

That is so fundamentally racist imo and assumes Black people didn& #39;t deserve to know about the opportunity in the first place, and you are doing them a service.
