Hee, I remeber I was studying honors full time & working in retail full time (Cotton On).I would push long hour shifts 07:00-17:00 then rush for my evening class 18:00-19:00 then have to work on assignments throughout the night. I’d go take a nap at the Sandton bathrooms at lunch
I was constantly exhausted, landed up in hospitals 3 times that year due to migraines. The very same year my first car I ever bought got stolen 3 months after I bought it. I almost failed my big Research Essay because I wasn’t coping
Some days I’d pull all nighters and then go straight to work. There wasn’t any room for error. I had to keep going even though I was finished mentally. I managed to pass my honors that year, just scraping through.
6 months after I completed my honors @VeeJay_Jacobs’s mom gave me a shot to work at the SABC on a new project called PSL sekunjalo. The rest is history. Umntu usuka kude
