I suppose I should explain this thread a bit, eh?

I've got an "S-1" switch in my guitar, which is really just a fancy way of hiding the switching system in a knob.

Trouble is, there's only three kinds: the one at the top of this thread (Telecaster), and two plastic. One's for bass, the other's for Strat.

And ... on my build, it just looks ... cheesy. Wrong.

But while the Telecaster knobs are good, sturdy metal, the only colors are chrome and gold.

So ... I'm doing some customization.

You'll see.

To my knowledge nobody else besides Fender makes S-1 knobs.

I have no idea why.
