this is why all the mums and daughters on tv shows are fair because we flatten blackness esp. with BW. biracial people can ID how they see fit, ripple affects occur regardless. after all meghan markle is proudly bi-racial and in some circle mariah carey is a black woman.

one thing about whiteness is its “exclusivity”. the reason the one drop rule exists is not because blackness is so accepting of all people (true as it may be). it’s because whiteness is not. Archie Windsor is a 3/4 white. he will still be seen as a “black” royal.
