Lol this dipshit is spreading so much misinformation
I can do a full debunk later but here’s a short overview of why this is bull https://twitter.com/bunsolvd/status/1292992157507297280">https://twitter.com/bunsolvd/...

PROTECT was found unconstitutional by a district court in 2008 in the Handley trial. There has only been one trial over loli since the Handley case and the defendant was let go over loli due to the ruling in the Handley trial.
He was sentenced for incest porn, but incest porn is extremely common on mainstream porn sites, it& #39;s not exactly illegal in any meaningful way.
Not to mention PROTECT is not as strong as these people think to begin with https://twitter.com/SkottTheHot/status/1203966596521156610">https://twitter.com/SkottTheH...
All arrests over loli both before and after PROTECT are under obscenity law. Frivolous “obscenity” arrests happen all the time, loli is about as meaningfully illegal in the US as truck nuts or a t-shirt that says "fuck you" on it (both of which have led to “obscenity” arrests)
Canada does in fact have this law, but it also criminalizes BDSM https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/bdsm-in-canada-is-50-shades-of-legal-grey-1.2969194">https://www.cbc.ca/news/cana... and there have been cases of people being arrested for furry porn.
Not exactly a great standard, do these people believe those should be illegal too?

Mexico’s laws only pertain to realistic/indistinguishable shit just like US laws.
The UK also criminalizes porn featuring bondage, choking, spanking, caning, whipping, penetration by a “violent object”, humilation, and verbal degradation) but also anal fisting, ABDL and DDLG fetishes, urination, female ejaculation, and facesitting.
Again, terrible fucking standard, do these people believe those should be illegal too?
Spain’s laws only concern real people, not fictional characters, and that article linked is about, again, realistic drawings not anime cartoon shit.

France EXPLICITLY does not consider fictional characters “minors” https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D0RrZnLX4AA8LUf.jpg:orig">https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D0R...
Israel’s laws are similar to France’s.
Australia criminalizes real women with small/flat breasts appearing in porn. Again, do these people think this is the standard we should follow?
Beside the point, but literally NONE of these countries care about the in-story age of characters, only their appearance, since I know these neurotics are going to try and start using it as "evidence" to attack that too.
Also, why should we base our ethics on the law to begin with? Is smoking pot wrong because some countries outlaw it? It’s illegal to advocate for LGBT rights in Russia, should we not do that?
Oh, should note that as much as I dislike it, the very existence of a show like Big Mouth goes to show that these people are full of shit when it comes to US law
