The best way to defeat #Hezbollah was to confront on various platforms. All failed but one remained:

Destroying his main ally: @General_Aoun and his son-in-law @Gebran_Bassil.

Hezbollah has the capacity to hold to its ground but Christians in #Lebanon are much more fragile +
The alliance between #Shia and #Christian in #Lebanon paved the road for a general reconciliation (after the 1975 civil war), standing robustly against the Shia-Sunni sectarian war encouraged and financed byt #SaudiArabia and #Israel to the benefit of #Israel in #Syria & #Iraq +
Nevertheless, the #SaudiArabia - #US alliance to bring the Middle East to a peace deal with #Israel is based on smashing the cause of #Palestine and remove all obstacles, i.e. the "Axis of the Resistance".+
The Christian of #Lebanon , in the western strategic mind, can leave the country of their ancestors and will be provided visas, residence permits and another nationaly (Lebanese love that).

This would isolate the Shia of #Lebanon and force Lebanon to a peace deal.
The Shia - Christian alliance spoiled the US-Saudi-Israel party. Defeating Hezbollah (also to hit #Iran and #Syria) was not possible following the 2006 war, the 2011 war in #Syria and the 2014 partition of #Iraq foiled plan. +
Now the entire effort is going towards defeating the majority Christian party in Lebanon, the one led by @Gebran_Bassil and founded by @General_Aoun.

The last explosion at the harbour was used to boost @DRSAMIRGEAGEA popularity and hit the one of Basil, Tayyar al-watani al-Hurr.
"Lebanese Forces" managed, with greater experience, to turn the table on the more moderate Christians, the followers of G Aoun.

Basil made a huge mistake in the last parliamentary elections, allowing Geagea to reach 15 MPs in the parliament. A number the LF wld only dream about+
Moreover, @Gebran_Bassil made more mistakes when he gained the aminosity of the Druse Leader Walid Jumblat, the Sunni leader Saad Hariri and the Shia speaker Nabih Berri. He thought the presidential election in #Lebanon can be run like in the US: visiting his supporters. +
The Presidential elections and the election of a Prime Minister in #lebanon is done by a decision of those @EmmanuelMacron brought around a table. 7 people decide and the rest of the 121 MPs just follow. That is Lebanon. However, +
Lebanese politicians receive instructions and money from abroad. Those sitting in a tank and pretending to think (but their brain burns mainly in the summer) say #Hezbollah is financed by #Iran. They invested nothing because Sayyed Nasrallah said it over and over again. But..+
Who do you think is financing Samir Geagea? From where Walid Jumblatt has all his hundreds of millions of dollars in the Swiss banks? @EmmanuelMacron told them around the table;
"You all have taken money (from the government and from your foreign allies) and I know that."+
The resignation of @Hassan_B_Diab was forced by all corrpted politicians who will fight to the death for their wealth accumulated from #Lebanon .

Lebanon has still a. lot of money to steal: the wealth of the government and the Gold abroad. Bankers were insisting on selling all +
Care Taker @Hassan_B_Diab did not fail. He proved to be an honest person willing to fight corruption. #Lebanon doesn't deserve a person of his caliber. He was confronted with hyenas willing to eat him alive because he wanted to reveal the theft they were responsible for.+
Now that PM Diab is out, all corrupted politicians are back in business.

Around 120-140 billion of dollars worth wealth still to full up their pockets.

The Lebanese deserve only the leaders they elect. +
Lebanese are very good in dancing on a song mentioning #Lebanon w/o realising they offer their corps for these politicians to dance on their bodies. They are followers and not independent souls.

They immigrate & love to be buried in #Lebanon , turned to a big cemetery in reality.
Enough of Lebanon politics for me.
