Publishing Twitter, what's your favourite thing that has been called 'The Future of Publishing'?

(I'm running a class on the topic next semester and am minded to begin it with a flash-through of some of the wilder things that have been called the future of publishing; my old versions of this included Dutch half-size books and 50 Shades...)

Of course, I wrote an entire report in 2011 on the Future of Publishing, but it seems somewhat narcissistic to ask students to read that...

One of my favourites was that half-sized Dutch print book format that Cambridge used for Bibles... I can't remember what it was called, though.
