200 may not look like a big number to you when just yesterday, 1000+ people died of Covid 19 in India. Largest single day death toll so far.

Though each death is equally tragic, some deaths cause more difficulties in long run.
In already starving manpower situation like India, death of each consultant, nurse and healthcare staff has cascading effect on healthcare system.
Also, fatality rate seems to be 5-10times higher in doctors in India.
Is this due to higher exposure, stress or any other reason? We don't know for sure.

But doctors seem to be at more risk than members of public in India.
200 is a big number.
Imagine an aeroplane full of doctors or ENTIRE admission batch of TWO medical colleges!

Yes, that's how big it is. And it is just 4 months into epidemic. AND it is worsening.
How can you help?

It is actually quite simple -

Help to reduce cases and severity by -
1. Wearing good quality mask ALL the time outside your home.
2. Minimum 6 feet of distance in all situations outside home.
Is it too much to ask for?

Doctors are on hate list of Indians for a long time. It is not going away anytime soon.

But so are healthcare needs.

If you can't help us atleast don't contribute to our murder.

Wear mask, keep distance, keep patient load low.
