Phone clinic today so dual screens because so many software apps required and 2 headsets one for the phone and one for digital dictation - #NHS clearly does not understand the ergonomics of clinical consultation @OpsProf @griffglen
Yesterday a colleague in outpatients had one PC with dual screens and a laptop as well ‘can’t juggle all the clinical software unless I have all this kit’ @OpsProf @PAG1962 @docpaulmiller
I can see the Problem - I’m trying to do a NearMe which requires my laptop shell to be open which then uses one of my dual screens but I need another 2 screens for seeing letters, results, imaging and entering notes and dictation @OpsProf @docpaulmiller @PAG1962

Also #NHS #NearMe only runs on #Chrome but all other #NHSHighland software cannot run on Chrome so I have 2 Browsers open .....
Also I have to keep #NearMe screen open to see if patient has arrived in the virtual waiting area so I’m less able to use a Did Not Attend moment or two ....
So now I’m doing #NHS emails on my phone ....
