i don't want to start a witch hunt and this isn't an exposing thread. i just think there's way too many inconsistencies in what hubipics is saying and i'm tired of other fans being lied to all the time. this has been happening way too often lately
i started to think it was kind of suspicious when they posted the screenshot and said cj entertainment had emailed them directly. i've received dmca notices before, and asked some friends who also did, and all of us got them from twitter support
i covered the numbers just in case because i'm always careful when i post this kind of stuff

anyways. when i got the dmca notice it was twitter support who i got the email from, they explained to me the reason, the legal procedures and attached the message from the company
they sent me a template to complain (if i believe that i actually own the content i posted) and asked me to send it to twitter if i sent it, and they would send a copy to the complainant. they warned me that, if i did send it, i should be aware that my personal information +
would be sent to third parties. twitter acted as an intermediary between me and the complainant and warned me before sending the information, which makes me think it's suspicious twitter would give cj their info and that cj would email them directly
my point is, twitter acts as an intermediary in those situations and i don't think they would give out an user's email to a third party that they don't even work/have a partnership with like that
apart from that, the notification you get on twitter when you get dmca notices was kinda off too, they cut out the last part. you can recover your account in minutes
something else that many people pointed out was the time. it was august 10th where they live when they posted it
so someone asked about it and this was their answer. now you can choose to believe them or not about their phone lagging. i just find it awkward they'd wait that long to change it back, + when you change the time the one on the emails changes too
also, the email seems kind of weird. cj uses a template for emails and the one in the screenshot, as many have pointed out, looks kind of unprofessional

(1st pic is their email, and 2nd and 3rd are from cj's emails)
i'm just pointing out that everything seems kind of suspicious to me and i wanted to share it here. there's been way too many catfishing and lies in this fandom lately
and please, do not send hate to hubipics or post/share their other accounts on social media. i'm stressing the fact that this is not some witch hunt and i'm not trying to "cancel" them. i'm not doing this to support mnet either
this whole thing seems kind of ehh to me, but you're free to think whatever you want to think. i just want us to be critical cause we've already been fooled way too many times and it's creating chaos in the fandom
and once again, please don't send hate to anyone. you can read this and choose to believe them or not, but whatever your choice is it should not be an excuse to hate on someone. if it turns out to be a lie, we do not know their intention and it still isn't an excuse to be mean
also, feel free to dm me if there's anything to add or correct
i'm adding this to the thread. i'm not a fan of mnet either, but no matter whether this is truth or not, posting it and encouraging the hanbin mistreatment narrative is going to have consequences for the trainees too. so many people dislike i-land already because of produce, +
saying that mnet is trying to boycott hanbin is gonna add to the "omg mnet survival rigged" thing and it could actually have negative consequences for the boys
i respect other fans' opinions, but before jumping into conclusions or posting stuff on twitter (especially big accs) lets think of the consequences first. not defending mnet, just trying not to ruin i-lands image even more. its inevitably related to mnet, and so are the trainees
