everything you need to know about i-land; an informative thread for those who haven't seen it yet
⟶ note : i'm trying to be as thorough as possible but there will be minor lapses and tiny details that i might miss out so feel free to point it out and add more information on this thread. hope this helps y'all!
The Youtube Live, however, is restricted for some countries.

I don't know if some sites host lives for the restricted countries but this site posts episodes the day after they're shown. You can also watch past episodes on here! http://Kshow123.net
I-Land is a survival reality show that features 23 trainees competing and working with one another for a chance to debut. With the help and judgement from Producers Bang Si-hyuk, Rain, and Zico, as well as Directors Pdogg, Son Sung-deuk, Wonderkid, and Doobu.
The trainees are to live in a complex called I-Land where they will sleep, eat, train, and basically live there. However only 12 of them can stay there. The remaining trainees will be on the “Ground”. These trainees do not live in the Ground but only eat and practice there.
They are given around 6 days to prepare for a performance. I-Land performs first. The producers and directors grade them individually. Their group average determines how many trainees in I-Land will be switched with those from Ground (also chosen by the producers & directors),
The one's who get removed from I-Land and sent to Ground are determined by voting. The I-Land trainees have to vote for who they think should leave.

(ngl this is so tough on their part since they'd have to vote some of their friends off :( highkey emotional)
1ST PERFORMANCE : they got low scores and 6 members were replaced with those from Ground.
2ND PERFORMANCE : this test was about teamwork. they got better scores than the previous performance and only 4 members were replaced with those from Ground.
3RD PERFORMANCE : I-Land vs Ground in a representative unit test. They had to choose 2 reps for singing and 3 for dancing each. If I-Land wins, none would be replaced by Ground and if Ground wins, 6 would be replaced.
I-Land's 3rd performance

Dancing -
Ground's 3rd perfomance

In the end, I-Land won by a few points meaning no one from I-Land is to be replaced.

(this was such a sad moment for the ground trainees but hopefully it motivated them to work harder)
4TH PERFORMANCE : this performance is to determine the final 12. From I-Land, 6 people would be sent to Ground (3 from the members votes and 3 from the producers vote).
The remaining 16 members who did not make it to the first 6 of the Final 12 performed. In determining the last 6 of the Final 12, a global vote was done last week on weverse.
This is the end of Part 1 of the show. Part 2 begins (this week) with the announcement of the last 6 to join the Final 12. Based on teasers and announcements, BTS will appear in this weeks episode and give missions to the 12 trainees.
Part 2 will observe more participation from the audience through global voting so download the Weverse app (if you haven't yet) to vote for your faves!!
I guess that's it. Wanted to keep it as short yet informative as possible so i hope this helped. Don't hesitate to DM or reply if yall have anythig to say or ask <3

I suggest watching the past 7 episodes to get to know the trainees and the show better!
