2/ it started with the ventilator @yeknology and his company @preelabs did the work on it. this was version 3
3/ several improvements later we ended up with this potentially life saving Emergency Ventilator. Plenty technical design details involved in this to ensure the right amount of oxygen delivered to patient. we worked with a several specialists on this.
4/ Financed, produced and are distributing 5000 face shields for healthcare workers. Here I am delivering 1000 to SRHA.
5/ designed and built motion activated washstands in partnership with Pree Labs Ltd. based on Prime Minister’s request / recommendation
6/ Coordinated the delivery of 2000+ surgical masks and 1500+ N95 masks to healthcare workers
7/ this Sewn Mask guide developed and distributed to a network of over 200 seamstresses islandwide. the plan here was to get them to sew medical spec masks for their communities. it worked!
8/ coordinated partnerships for the production of and supported in the design of Testing Booths with Jamaica Fiberglass Products Ltd. several delivered so far. here's one being delivered to May Pen Hospital. Drs/Nurses will be protected when testing patients.
CRJA testing booth. before us these were being sourced through South Korea. We proved that we could build them here.
9/ Built capacity to 3D print testing swabs with the ability to produce over 3000+ per week. GK Foundation bought us these special printers. pics of 3d printers and test swabs
10/ Designed a communications campaign with billboards islandwide in partnership with National Outdoor Advertising, Do Good Jamaica, Leah Goldson and the Blood Bank of Jamaica to encourage Jamaicans to donate blood (due to an extreme national shortage as a result of the pandemic)
11/ Acquired Epost Caribbean integrated scheduling/messaging system setup for the Blood Bank
12/ Coordinated a group to design salted masks for testing

Supported and partnered with UWI Faculty of Engineering to repair 8+ broken down ventilators

14/ Designed impenetrable and reusable gowns in partnership with Designs by Marc Ltd., producing and distributing in partnership with IDB . @shawnwenzel led this group.
PPE's in general are in short supply so this is major.

15/ Partnership with IDB to produce additional gowns and face shields in partnership with Designs by Marc Ltd., Daniel Schwapp and the CRJA admin team @Marc_Maurice_
16/ Inadvertently, this work has resulted in one of the Caribbean’s most sophisticated 3D printing operations. It is also likely to be one of the most efficient networks. It is noteworthy to mention that this work has been predominantly led by young people.
17/ important also to recognize the significant support received through our partnership with the Multicare Youth Foundation, Do Good International and the ICD Group Ltd, the PSOJ Response Fund, Pree Labs Ltd. and Bluedot.
Joe Matalon helped us out tremendously
