[Thread] Ever wonder how PFF grades stack up versus http://NFL.com"> http://NFL.com  in predicting PPR PPG?

After diving into the data with @DavidZach16 for RBs and WRs drafted in rounds 1-4 from the last 4 years, one thing is clear:

http://NFL.com"> http://NFL.com  > PFF Ranks >>> PFF Grades
RBs: Top Grades

http://NFL.com"> http://NFL.com :
1) S. Barkley
2) L. Fournette
3) D. Cook
4-T) A. Kamara, J. Jacobs, D. Guice, R. Jones

PFF:
1) K. Hunt
2) R. Jones
3-T) S. Barkley, D. Montgomery
5) D. Henderson
WR: Top Grades

http://NFL.com"> http://NFL.com :
1-T) DK Metcalf, C Ridley, M Williams
4-T) C Davis, J Ross, Hollywood, AJ Brown, P. Campbell

PFF:
1) Isabellahttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😬" title="Grimasse schneidendes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Grimasse schneidendes Gesicht">
2) Gallup
3) JJAW
4) D. Westbrook
5) Z. Jones, J. Washington
People often reference PFF grades but the data here shows they should be ignored entirely when it comes to RB/WR prospects.

PFF ranks fair MUCH better but they still trail both http://NFL.com"> http://NFL.com  and draft capital. Still though, Kudos to whoever does those. Big value add.
I used to laugh off http://NFL.com"> http://NFL.com  until @DFBeanCounter first informed me of its value.

After digging in here, it& #39;s pretty clear http://NFL.com"> http://NFL.com  can be a powerful tool when used in combination with analytics.

The best part? It& #39;s free!

I& #39;m constantly looking for ways to incorporate film into my analysis cause I believe it& #39;s a key piece of the puzzle and I suck at it.

Until now, I& #39;ve relied on people with proven track records like @JetPackGalileo who publishes his grades for free! Follow him.
Going forward, it looks like I can add another informative FREE tool to my process and you should too.

Top 2020 rookies per http://NFL.com"> http://NFL.com :
