cw animal death

My dog, Bella, really hasn't been doing well for the past week. Starting Thursday, she's barely been eating or drinking and her problems with walking have only gotten worse. My family and I have tried everything we could to help her recover, but unless she

improves significantly in the next 15 and a half hours, we're having her euthanized tomorrow at 11 in the morning.

To some extent, I've known this was coming for a while. Bella's already 14 and a half years old, and as a pug, health problems were inevitable. Even with that,

though, I was still completely blindsided. She went from relatively fine on Wednesday to barely functional on Thursday.

For lack of a better word, this really sucks. Bella's been our family dog for more of my life than I even remember, and I really don't want to lose her, but

it would suck even more to watch her suffer for any longer than she has to. All I can do now is try to make her last night as comfortable as possible.

Sorry if this thread feels kind of unfocused, it was more for me to gather my thoughts than anything else.
