1/4 so this is something I have wanted to talk about for a while so here I go, as someone who does quite a bit of flaps and seals/tamper evident hacking as a hobby I think the post office is fucking amazing but for a reason I don't think many people appreciate: mail fraud.

2/4 Mail fraud and mail tampering are crimes that rarely gets attention and I am not talking just about porch pirates if you do banking,work from home or purchase anything online you are dependent on letters and packages getting to you with privacy and integrity.

4/4 I don't know about you but I don't see private logistics agencies investigating and prosecuting people who steal or tamper with parcels they carry. If we want to be able to send legally protected packages and correspondences we need to protect the post office

3/4 This is why the Post Office has a dedicated Law Enforcement agency in the Postal Inspectors and they are damn good at what they do albeit overworked.
