RWBY’s lore is so generic and fucking lame while Bionicle’s lore not only did this same dynamic but was cooler from the start but it also evolved into “the entire universe takes place in a gigantic robot”

There’s something so much cooler to me about how Mata Nui and Makuta are not shown their true appearances here but are visualized as these rocks that are well designed and show off their nature, Mata Nui is smooth and peaceful while Makuta is jagged and sinister

N comparison, these god designs are phoned in hard because basically there’s no dephining features beyond their horns and basic ass colors.

Their dragon forms are more interesting because Bad is a Western dragon and Good is an Esteen dragon but I don’t know why that’s there

They actually use this motif in Fullmetal Alchemist but it had purpose.

Father uses a Western Dragon because he created Amestris, the Europe Analogue’s, Alchemy

Hohenheim uses an Eastern Dragon, and it implies he taught Xing it’s own form of Alchemy
