Is this what “Side With Chicago” means, @ChicagoFire? Come get your man, please. 😴 #cffc #cf97
Lest we forget this gem from Frank last week:

“Rzeczywiście, nie było za ciekawie. Wiało grozą. [...] Na telewizyjnym ekranie pokazywano straszne rzeczy. Wtedy rzeczywiście bardzo się obawialiśmy.”
There’s many issues at hand here. A lot of it false on ignorance, but that falls on the club. Provide resources so your non-Black, especially European players understand and learn what’s happening in our city and country.

Anyway, sorry we didn’t send y’all an email before we tweeted this out, but literally:
Also, before anyone else chimes in that “he doesn’t play for them anymore”: Yes, we know. But when a club is trying to prove they’re striving for change, they need to make sure those associated are on the same page. One gross, racist tweet from a former player and here we are 🤷‍♀️
Oh, not to mention a gross, racist interview from a *current* player and... well, looks like it all comes back full circle.

Just come get your men, figure it out, make the change be more than just cosmetic, surface level corporate tactics.

Please actually side with Chicago.
The tweet came out this morning. It’s pretty easy to say “you can’t have ideologies like this and rep our club publicly” to that man and/or issue a statement addressing the tweet, disavowing it entirely and saying it does not reflect the club and their new direction.
We recognize change is hard and doesn’t happen overnight. We are forgiving of that, to a point. But a city is suffering, bleeding, and dying —yet you’re silent while people like Gehrig spew bigoted bullshit in your absence and affect the way people perceive you by association.
