Bored of United playing silly beggars in the transfer market. Every year we try and pretend to be tough and refuse to pay the asking price. We waste months, make sure the player misses the pre-season, then pay what was originally asked. What’s the point?
We finished 3rd on goal difference. If we had signed Bruno last summer we would likely have secured Champions League football comfortably. We wouldn’t haven’t needed to play the same XI relentlessly in the lead up to the FA Cup semi. This poor decision making costs us trophies.
Dortmund have a contract with Sancho for another three years. They’re under no pressure to sell, unless he acts out. Why on earth would they let him go for considerably less than their evaluation, when they know they can still sell him for as much or more next summer?
United just need to bite the bullet. Being one of a few clubs who can still afford to spend big we need to pay the asking price. I’m not as arsed now but if we haven’t wrapped this up in time for pre-season then it’s an absolute joke. This approach year on year is embarrassing.
