Yea my experience with the Chem adept was so discouraging. I really tried but the HW, quizzes, and test were significantly harder than the problems presented in the online class book. I was extremely overwhelmed and felt dumb reaching out. https://twitter.com/jfrickuga/status/1292853807328698368
It’s the reasons why I switched majors. I spiraled into self doubt and I put school on the back burner. My educational confidence was shot. I felt so defeated!
I was working a lot and I just kept getting further and further behind. It got to a point where I didn’t even care about passing. I was just going through the motions.
I carried this same mentality into my other science classes and I keep seeing myself fail in subject areas that were literally so second nature to me.
I didn’t understand it and it drove me crazy. I went into a bad depression and totally abandoned school. Going to class when I mentally could and working as much as I could.
That was about 3-4yrs ago.
Two years ago is when I left school.

Fast forward to now,
1. Actively fighting my depression
2. Because of the loving support of family and friends and the careful eye of God watching over my steps, my confidence is back.
3. Jan. 2021 I’m going back to school to finish what I started. I will graduate debt free.
