Nicki Minaj Being Blackballed: A Thread

Nicki Minaj is a mogul & have become one of the best selling female rappers of ALL-TIME, lasted for 10+ years , took charge of her success, & never let labels cheat her into 360 deals that would hold her back from becoming one of the greatest artist in the world

-For this she has been held to a higher standard. Facing scrutiny from the media, the gp, her collaborations, lyrics, the media creating fake beefs, false narratives about her not supporting female rappers, which further created a hate train for the past 3 years (their agenda)

-Years ago Nicki went to court & fought for streaming rights so it can count as sales towards Billboard. This important decision was for artists to make a profit on their own music. Streaming platforms like Apple Music, Spotify etc. were making MILLIONS off of artist music.

- Nicki ended up winning a major fight for streaming in court & it changed the whole music industry. Executives behind the scenes didn’t like this decision bc they lost out on millions; so I’m assuming someone very powerful started plotting early on to sabotage her career.

-The barbz started to see the blackballing from the music industry after she won against them. She has always been about ORGANIC success & making sure that every artists are treated fairly, & are paid for their OWN music but they are making sure it doesn’t work in her favor.

-This made her dedicated fanbase work 10x’s harder, as they watch other big artist songs go straight to popular playlist & earn 65-100M of radio audiences. When Nicki realeases she only receives the short end of the stick w/ only 2M or less radio spins & no playlist support.

-In 2018, another agenda they were trying to push was manipulating the public into thinking that she had “fallen off”the hate train was a major smear campaign bloggers were trying to discredit her career when she had one of the best selling songs of the year that’s now 9x’s plat.

-The barbz didn’t let the hate train win by allowing her to be bullied by the media, gp & celebrities. They kept her legacy alive & defended her through the hell they put her through. Nicki would also defend herself on QR but the media continued to slander her name.

This was the first smear campaign by the media/industry using some women in rap (who had no integrity) to spread false narratives about Nicki not supporting other women in hip/hop, or stopping bags etc. when it was all LIES.. she actually embraced a lot of women in hip-hop.

- She also has the most collaborations w/ female rappers & female artists overall & have congratulated majority of them on their success.

-In the middle of 2018, Billboard changed their rules where streaming counted as sales on BB200 & BB100, making it easier for artists to chart high especially black artists. After this happened the rap genre took over the music industry & surpassed Rock as the #1 genre WW

BB also made a new rule for radio airplay to take up marjority of the charts. Radio stations can play the same 10 songs every hour & they won’t be penalized, for the past 3 years DJ’s have been getting disrespectful bc they feel powerful that they can manipulate the charts

-The songs on Billboard in the top 10-30 all have heavy radio airplay up to 50-100M but in pure sales the numbers are very low (2-3k) but bc they have high radio audiences they chart higher than songs that are actually selling

- DJ’s started to admitting thst they were blackballing Nicki on their radio show. TheBreakfastClub spoke on the issue as if it wasn’t a big deal. They knew that radio takes up majority of the billboard charts & knew that she wouldn’t be able to stick on the charts.

Debra Antney who was Nicki’s old manager speaks on Nicki’s come up before she became a mega-superstar & reveals the TRUTH on Queen Radio while the media & gp ignores it bc they wanted those false narratives to be true not knowing that she suffered & endured a lot of hardships.

-Fast forward to 2020 Nicki has scored 2 #1 singles all with the barbz help w/ no playlisting & no radio. She goes on to show her fans major love for the genuine support. This is the first time an artists debuts on the top of the charts while blackballed it’s literally unheard of

-Nicki becomes one of the artist with the most PURE SALES this year but radio stations & streaming platforms are still blackballing her. She has been beating the industry at their own game by following the rules & suddenly BB change their rules about merch bundles

- Nicki told them this in 2018 to change their bundle rules when they let Travis Scott cheat her out of going #1 spot w/ QUEEN’ but everyone called her “bitter” or “angry” when she was telling the TRUTH. It became a problem when merch bundles started working in her favor.

-When TROLLZ debuted at #1 DJ’s were complaining about Nicki & 69 “cheating with merch bundles” even though they went #1 with mainly PURE SALES & even without the bundles they still would have went #1 but those same DJ’s were calling Nicki “crazy” when she spoke about it

- Recently Nicki dropped MYH w/ ASAP Ferg & DJ’s from radio stations denied barbz of any radio play & ignored their request, one of them even said Nicki was “cheating” & using “bots” so barbz decided to make their own Radio Station on StationHead.

Till this day people are denying that Nicki is being blackballed & this is why I made this thread to expose the truth & show the hardships Nicki & the barbz been facing for the past 3 years.
