institutions like to give scholars the impression tt we don't hv options - as an impetus to stay & continue to exp terrible ANR & other microaggressions!
thing is, esp if your a 2QTBIPOC disabled scholar - we hv options!
We also aren't at the mercy of the academy!

TBH, they need us more than we need them!
yes we need to live, we need to pay for things; rent, groceries, to hv nice things...
For yrs I was stuck, & gas lit myself. Tt i deserved to be treated the ways I was!
TBH, I'm still recovering medically fr the harms/ongoing harms!

its the youth (in my internal governance sys - they are the elders),
are always so patient, generous & forgiving of us older folks!
They hv told me/us time & time again, the way forward. Re imagined tt another future is possible!
