Trump touts his payroll tax "holiday" and says if he wins re-election "we will be ending that tax, we'll be terminating that tax."

Treasury Secretary Mnuchin says that “within the next week or two, most of the states will be able to execute" on enhanced unemployment benefits.

Trump adds: "Depending on the state, we have the right to do what we want to do."
Donald Trump goes after Joe Biden's faith again, saying he doesn't think "a man of deep religion" would accept ideas proposed by Bernie Sanders.

He keeps referring to a "manifesto" between the two.
A direct quote from President Trump: "If you look at polls, which—I'm not a big believer in polls. If I was I guess I wouldn't be standing here right now. And by the way our poll numbers are going up very rapidly."
Trump is still running against Medicare For All, an idea that his opponent Joe Biden opposes. "You'll have 180 million people lose their health care," the president says.
Trump is asked why he needs to do an executive order to cover preexisting conditions when it's already law under Obamacare. He doesn't deny that it's already law. "As an executive order it hasn't been done before," he says.
"Preexisting conditions—Republicans are 100% there." He says an executive order is "just a double safety net" and "a signal to people — it's a second platform."

(Trump is currently supporting a lawsuit to overturn ACA's preexisting condition protections in court.)
