1/ Hey Twitter. I've never asked you for anything before. Today is my dad's birthday. He was recently diagnosed with (stage IV metastasized) renal cancer. He wanted to see his grandkids while he was still healthy, so we dashed up to Alaska. I just tested positive for Covid-19.

2/ (I'm fine/aysymptomic and solo quarantining) So now my CancerDad is isolating in a hotel with my mom and worried they might have the virus. On his birthday. Likely his last one. His birthday plan was to teach his grandson to fly fish.

3/ If you feel wildly generous, would send him and my mom something positive? A birthday wish, some flowers or something edible? (it's still early afternoon in Alaska!) but it wouldn't take much to put a smile on his face, even if it couldn't get there today.
