@POTUS starts with the VA mail-in voting “disaster.” USPS is not equipped for it. People voted, even during world ward. 500k incorrect ballot applications sent to the dead, pets, & others not eligible.

Dobbs said there apparently was a shot at the WH? Rumor is POTUS will be returning. Live stream says “next up,” so maybe it’s going to restart? False alarm? Shooter caught? Anyone with more info, please reply.

@POTUS says it was near the WH perimeter but outside the fence. So, he just continues where he left off. Says housing & autos inventory are at rock bottom bc/demand. New plants being built in MI & OH. No reason for 3rd quarter economic growth to be ~20%, a record.

Regarding #coronavirus , @POTUS wants a therapeutic to help those currently sick, even more than a vaccine. Economically, looking at a capital gains tax cut to encourage hiring, and an income tax cut for middle income families.

[My connection dropped] Returning now to more discussion/ #coronavirus cases worldwide, South Am worst even w/less tests. The #wall 280 miles build, has helped stop infected coming in. He feels strongly we’ll have a vax by end/yr, mil will deploy. Most focused on senior citizens.

We have fewer deaths per capital than UK & most other countries in Western Europe. Cases, hospitalizations, & deaths declining, but largest focus is still in nursing homes & those w/co-morbidities.

@POTUS says cases along MX border are higher bc/those coming across border legally. Highlights NY, FL, CA, & other areas, but overall every number is dropping & hospital capacity is cont to go up. Admin is working to save people, & working w/many/188 countries now w/infections.

@POTUS says we are working w/other countries to find treatments for #coronavirus , some think we already have it. Has secured remisivir, & other treatments, including anti-virals.

@POTUS reviews #EOs , says there may be other extensions/benefits after the first/the year. In response to questions, Staff says unemployment may be able to start by end of next week. Just met w/governors. May try to terminate state co-payment/25% ($100/wk).

@POTUS speaks to incident outside/WH, he didn’t indicate any specifics.

@POTUS doubles down on wanting schools opening bc children don’t get the #coronavirus easily he believes, and they don’t generally get as sick. And it’s necessary for the economy, if at all possible.

@POTUS stands by his statement that the Dems are now further Left than Bernie Sanders, including in terms/religion. We would put on regulation, taxes, & losses/freedom.

@POTUS said there was never an #EO to require coverage/preexisting conditions. Obamacare essentially ended when individual mandate was stopped (most disliked part/Obamacare). EO provides an extra safety net.

@POTUS says having his acceptance speech for nomination be at WH bc it would be least expensive & safest. Thanked John Roberts for his report abt incident, was two shots outside the WH. But also considering Gettysburg, a great natl park, a great place he’s been to multiple times.

In answer to a question, Mnuchin says if Chinese companies don’t comply with accounting rules by end/2021, will be de-listed from the US stock exchange. POTUS says US has told WTO should no longer be treated as a developing country bc it gives them an unfair boost.

@POTUS says China, Iran, & yes, even Russia, don’t want him re-elected. Our mil, NATO contributions, exposed Russ pipeline issue, & other ways they’d clearly not be happy. Chinese has had to pay tariffs, w/$28B given to US farmers. If he wins election, these countries will deal.

@POTUS says Dems are meddling w/election, w/mail in & other issues. Gives NY example, missing & fraudulent ballots. NJ problem, and now VA.

@POTUS says travel exemptions for athletes bc it’s good for the economy, but they must be tested for the #coronavirus bf entering the US. Working with Europe to see abt reopening.

@POTUS says US docs & consultants have done an amazing job to fight the #coronavirus , we would have lost 10x as many people if we hadn’t shut the country down. Lots of governors have done an extraordinary job, too.

@ChanelRion asks @POTUS if he thinks Susan Rice is Dem go pick, is it bc/ #Obamagate . Prez says unequivocally, prior admin spied but say how much Rice knew. But it was treason, and Obama, Biden, Clapper, Page, Strzok, all knew abt it. It was a set up.Political crime/the century.
