In my 3 wks @ new job:
• no notice that each week was scheduled OT even though start paperwork says 48 hours notice
• last Friday I was told “you’ll be out at 12.” I was out at 4:30pm
• there are no chairs for me to sit in while doing computer work (I have back issues)

• op manager says “come let us know if something isn’t working so we can streamline the process, it’s a startup and things are always changing.” When we say that, or something is overloading us, he shouts us down and tells the shift leads we should be doing the work and more

• same op manager has been here for a year, and has had (I believe) 2 or 3 salary raises in that time. No one in the warehouse is above $17 an hour (above minimum, not a living wage)
• hotter inside than outside at 4am. We ask 4 AC, we get told “there is AC, keep going.”

In short, people on the ground like my coworkers in this warehouse work harder than anyone I’ve ever met, and are given dirt for it. This is why we say “eat the rich.”
Also???? Get me the fuck out of here???? Not a SINGLE person has asked me “how are you?” In 3 weeks. I’m viewed as a machine, not a person.
