7 Steps to finding a Niche

As entrepreneurs we make money by seeking out customers problems and provide solutions to them.

Generally the top end of a potential market is dominated by authoritative sites that will be the go to for potential customers seeking solutions to their problems.
To compete with these sites is difficult and costly.

So we seek to find a smaller field of potential customers whom have a more defined problem and the solve it better than the competition.

This is our Niche and they are in every single market.
1) If we want to leverage advantages we currently have, it beneficial to find niches that resonate with our passions and skills.

This will give both a head start over the competition and continued motivation.

make a list of these passions/skills
2) Expand these list entries.

A good tool for this is auto-fill suggestions on Google.

This will give us our keyword phrases.
3) With potential niches to explore we now need evidence that that there is an audience and potential profits to be made there.

4) Enter your keyword phrase and it will present data on what:

. Advertisers are paying to people searching this phrase

. How many people are searching the phrase

this will will inform use well of the profit potential of this niche.
5) When we find niches with potential we next need to refine further.

Google search our keyword phrase ans analyse the sites on the first 2 or 3 pages.

What we find here will really show us what profit potentials there are.
6) Does analysis of theses pages show authoritative sites or user generated site? I.E YT, Quora, forums etc?

If so this is the audience that can benefit from a product or service.
7) This is where we find the pain points, the problems we are going to solve and uncover our ultimate niche.

What are the questions are being asked here and what products/services can create or direct that will resolve them?

find these and deliver in full.
Though there are niches everywhere, the most profitable are likely hiding in the most boring markets.
