Alright loves! It is my birthday next week and few things would make me happier than the gift of passing bill A2060 in NJ, the & #39;babysitter bill,& #39; an election reform proposal.

As an update to our prior posts, Bill A2060 has a hearing date! But it is coming up FAST. It is Thurs., Aug. 13. Days away! The State & Local Gov& #39;t. Committee will review bill A2060 & its Senate companion S698 - which already cleared the Senate.

Mamas with political aspirations need A2060 to pass to clear gender & income-based barriers to running for office. Women willing to dedicate their talents to public service should not have to wait to run until children are grown. We can fix some of that with this bill!

Please let the NJ Legislature know you support A2060 passing by registering "in favor" of the bill. If you have signatory authority on behalf of your group or org, add your title to your registration in favor too. Got friends who can do this too? Great. Tag them!

- go to Http://njleg.state.nj.us/ 
- click August 13 on the calendar
- click Assembly State and Local Govt Committee in the list
- click the small link for "Registration Form" near the top of the next page
- fill out & include bill #A2060 & check "in favor" & submit!
