Without wanting to get into yet another argument for five years, there is literally no other excuse for eating meat and dairy for human beings who don& #39;t need to eat meat and dairy to stay alive apart from "it tastes good" - and what kind of fucked up, indulgent excuse is that?
To clarify my position: Meat and dairy does taste good. It tastes fucking *amazing*. I crave bacon, roast chicken, croissants, lamb shank, a cool glass of milk.
But I crave these things like I crave cigarettes. I don& #39;t need them, I just want them, because they taste good.

"Because I like it" doesn& #39;t strike me as a particularly well thought out ethical position.
It strikes me as the height of hedonism and the abandonment of ethics. I& #39;d be interested in any arguments against.
