🚨 A THREAD 🚨
We all have mistakes, let’s be real here.

Even the great accounts had some mistakes.

The important thing is we bounce back from it.

So here I am telling you my mistakes

And help you prevent those.

So if you’re interested, please take down notes and read until the end

👇👇
1. Starting with no direction

This has been my huge huge mistake.

I wasn’t clear of my niche until I was at 400 something Followers.

All I did was post and engage and post and engage.

👇👇
I’ll tell you

Having a clear niche from the start really helps you grow faster

Of course you have to engage

But when people notice that you’re into this one, and you got the same niche

Tendency is they’ll become your audience

And that gives you growth.

👇
I’ll give you great examples of people having a clear niche and grew so fast.

@DoctorFlip - Isn’t it obvious? You’re the dumbest if you don’t know what Doc’s niche is.

@Caesar_VICI - Caesar talks about fitness. And he was clear about it from the start.

👇👇
@CryptoSheen__ - Idk if you still don’t know what he talks about. You might be the dumbest amongst the dumbest if you’re not able to guess what’s his niche.

@TheAffCoach - Do I need to explain?

There are many great example accounts out there

You just need to discover them

👇
2. Being part of the crowd

This is one of the things I struggled the most.

Being part of the “hustlers” crowd.

It’s because my name before was

“Reiner the hustler 🤑

Yes. With the 🤑 emoji.

With that, I placed myself into a position where I can’t stand out

👇👇
If you want to stand out

You must have a name that corresponds to what you do or have your real name

And make it stand out.

Great examples

@AskTheGiver
@CMillerTalks
@FreedomPathGo
@CJ_Johnson17th (obviously)
@itsAndrewPiedad
@CureIncome
@fromclicktosale

👇👇
Also make yourself popular in a certain category

@ambitiousmichhh -Creative tweets
@hustlerbrent - Graphic Design
@HokeHustles - Affiliate Marketing
@iamhasscr - Flipping
@AyAy_Ron69 - Engagement king
@HeroJourneyOn - Automated business

And many more!

👇👇
I admit, I haven’t stand out yet.

But that’s one thing I’m working on

And I don’t want it to happen to you.

It will cause you burnouts and stress.

And once you get burned out

You become unproductive.

👇👇
3. Focusing on Twitter too much

I’m guilty with this one. Obviously. It’s a thread of my mistakes right?

Focusing on Twitter too much won’t allow you to consume great contents around you.

Which could lead you to

-Stress
-Burn outs
-No content to post

👇👇
Focusing on Twitter and procrastinating on what you needed to comply

Is not good for you.

It must be balance

If you have a 9-5, scheduling your tweet is a must

If you don’t want to be lost in the radar.

👇👇
The key to twitter is to tweet more and to make sure it receives good engagements.

But sometimes some of our tweets will perform bad or good.

I know a lot are repeating this but

Study your good performing tweets.

Study what topic you discussed that made it viral.

👇👇
In my case, my Covid tweets never fail.

I average 60-80 likes and some 100’s from covid tweets and 4k-5k impressions.

But I don’t do it often cause I don’t want my audience to see covid tweets most of the time.

👇👇
Also memes helped me grow.

A meme that I did earned me 16k impressions

And 2k engagements.

Which means people love to see memes that talks about twitter.

What I’m trying to say here is that

People react to hard hitting, funny, and reality tweets

👇
Once you mastered how to get people to engage with you

Without even relying on engagement groups which I’ll be tackling the next point

You know you got solid audience!

And that’s a mistake I did earlier.

👇
4. Relied too much on EGs

EG stands for engagement groups

Before July, the algorithm really allows your followers to see every tweet you post

Making it easier to get noticed and people to see your tweets

One mistake of mine is that, I never capitalized it.

👇👇
I sent most of my tweets on engagement groups

Making it look like forced engagements.

Although EGs are very helpful in beating twitter today and gives you the boost you need

But relying on them too much

Might harm your growth.

👇
Why would it harm your growth?

Cause some engagement groups are forced engagements

For the sake of “engagement”

And you don’t want that right?

To know your social authority

Try tweeting without sending in the group and see how many people would engage to it

👇👇
5. Connections inside DMs

I never utilized DMs early, but I found the essence of it when I started Affiliate Marketing

Inside DMs, you’ll make GREAT connections and friends

With that connections, I made money sleeping, away from Twitter, etc.

👇
I suggest to DM people who you engage the most!

DM is my 2nd timeline

If you don’t see me inside the TLs, I’m inside my DMs!

So make good connections and benefit from it later! 💪
Those are some of my mistakes I did earlier which really factored to who and what my account is today.

Mistakes are part of the process

Mistakes are meant to happen

So if you ever encounter the same mistakes I did, try to bounce back from it!
If you reached to this point I would like to say thank you for reading my thread!

If you loved it, I would appreciate RTs and likes to spread the message

And help people to avoid the same mistakes I did!

Appreciate you all! Have a great day!
