"me getting the award for Best Setter is proof of my spiker's power" vs. "my points are mine, and your points are also mine"
like… oikawa and atsumu were so textually positioned to be at opposite ends of a philosophy spectrum kageyama was struggling to find his place in and it was established as early as ch60 and sustained through to ch388… it's good character writing, i think!
oikawa = trust, "i believe in all of you"
atsumu = pride, "i have no time for people who can't hit my tosses"
and kageyama, learning equally from the two best setters he knew in high school, finding his own philosophy and style
oh but i do love it when the chosen king reclaims his divine sword and leads his armies in glorious battle!!!!
