Ontario is reporting 115 new coronavirus cases after a full week of fewer than 100 new daily cases. The province's health minister says despite that, the overall trend is downwards. Quebec has 156 new coronavirus cases, slightly higher than what it has been reporting in recent days. The province has also recorded another death. That brings the national total to 119,723 cases with 9,018 deaths. 6,874 cases are still active.
Manitoba has 16 more coronavirus cases. That's the 6th day in a row the province has seen a double-digit increase due to a recent surge, but the figure is less than half of what was reported Sunday. Across the country, there's now 119,739 cases and 9,018 deaths.
Sask. reports 5 new COVID-19 cases, 8 new recoveries for a provincial total of 1,450 cases and 1,265 recoveries.
