on the 9th of august the internet has been glitching around the country, in the afternoon it fully shut down in minsk and some regions. the only way to access the internet is through one vpn service which not a lot of people have access to
the government did this to stop us from spreading information so please talk about whats happening in belarus
around 14 hours ago the official preliminary results of the election came out with lukashenko having 79%-80% of the votes, which made it obvious that the elections have once again been rigged
the first one is a picture of lukashenko's rally this year. the second one is tikhanovskaya's, the main alternative candidate. this kind of shows their real reputation
after finding out the results people started gathering in minsk as well as many other cities https://twitter.com/franakviacorka/status/1292606289839824897?s=19
the police used tear gas, rubber bullets and stun grenades against their people who were peacefully protesting.
tw // graphic content
this is a video of a police car driving over a protester. the protester later died.
tw // blood , injuries
the police want to initiate criminal proceedings against all protesters, even the person who died. they also refuse to admit injuring and killing people
unfortunately, theres no way to help belarus except for spreading information. petitions dont work in a dictatorship

so please, please talk about us and hope for the best for belarusian people
belarusians are extremely peaceful people. we dont want violence, we dont want blood. we only want fair elections and justice for our people
