• tip: listening to instrumental music or calming music can help you focus. this is a playlist i use a lot when studying/doing hw. (but really it depends on the person). it's also available on youtube. https://open.spotify.com/user/chilledcow/playlist/0vvXsWCC9xrXsKd4FyS8kM?si=kBisY7SESqSP4GFImf_0rA
• tip: for online class, have a bottle of water with you at all times lol. it helps. hydrate.
• google docs/sheets/slides
— works just like microsoft office. it saves your files online so you can open it on any device with internet connection.
• evernote
— a note taking app which is very handy. it can also scan documents, sabe photos wc lets you organize by folders/dates
• snapcalc & cymath
— other apps similar to photomath
• classroom - homework
— helps you track your homework/projects
• gramarly keyboard
— checks your grammar and spelling
• pomodoro technique
—a time management technique wc helps u stop procrastinating by breaking down ur work into intervals using a timer
• pomodoro app
— explained above this twt
• cornell note taking method
— ( i love this one lol it really helps you understand the lesson) use your own words taken from your understanding of the lesson as much as you can.
• tip: teach it
— after you've studied a lesson, try to teach it or explain it to someone else. it gauges how much you really understand the lesson. for the parts you don't understand, study them again. that way, you wouldn't have to study the whole lesson all over.
http://writtenkitten.co
— this one is cute! it's like write or die but basically you set a goal of words for an essay/paper and it rewards you with a cute photo of a kitten, puppy, or bunny. it doesn't save your work tho, you have to copy & paste it somewhere else after.
http://senecalearning.com
— free lessons and also covers a wide range of subjects
• kokuyo notebooks
— ik i said this thread is for broke students but if you're a sucker for stationery like me lol, japanese notebooks are rlly the best. they're refillable. the rings can open at any page you stop at. you can also transfer the pages to other parts.
