BJP leaders are being illegally allotted Lutyen's Delhi accommodation meant for Members of Parliament.

BJP MPs are taking multiple properties to accommodate their "guests" who are party leaders.

Here's how the Modi govt's super murky & illegal arrangement works.

This pertains to house 211, North Avenue which is unofficially occupied by BJP's Sambit Patra.

So I decided to check out the paperwork for this house to see how the allotment was done.

For this, I filed an RTI with the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to get the details.

Turns out 211, North Avenue has been officially allotted to BJP MP & national media head Anil Baluni as a "guest accommodation" in 2018.

Baluni already had an MP bungalow for his accommodation at 20, Gurudwara Rakabganj Road.

This 2nd housing is for his "guest".

The guest in question is BJP Vice-President Avinash Rai Khanna who is NOT an MP currently & doesn't enjoy any public post.

But wait - public records show that Khanna already has accommodation in Delhi at RK Puram.

So why does he need a 2nd one?

Interestingly, MP Anil Baluni (who has been allotted 2 MP properties - for himself & his non-govt "guest") has now been given the 35, Lodhi Estate bungalow vacated by Priyanka Gandhi.

Sambit Patra is a part of Baluni's team as the latter is national media head for BJP.

- Why are Avinash Rai Khanna/Sambit Patra occupying posh Lutyen's properties despite them not being MPs or govt functionaries?
