after jungkook dropped the link to yummy on twitter, armys mocked his music taste DIRECTLY UNDER THE TWEET where he’d almost definitely see it, to the point where the media noticed

mocking jimin’s silent videos to the point where he stopped posting them and stopped coming to twitter altogether. and then crying about him never being active as if they hadn’t bullied him off this app in the first place

armys made a tweet go viral completely and utterly trivializing jm’s chronic pain despite the fact that he has mentioned before that he does in fact SUFFER FROM CHRONIC PAIN. it’s not playing doctor. you know what’s playing doctor? saying it’s “not a big deal”

when my time reached #1 on us itunes people attributed it entirely to “solo stans using v//pn” and lied that it overtook on when on was not even near #1. nobody celebrated or congratulated jungkook, they just got angry and said we need to focus on ot7 songs

around that time filter was high on us itunes as well so people said pjm and jjk solo stans were having a “pissing contest” and “using v//pn” when there was literally no evidence of this. and then guess which songs charted on billboard hot 100 and everyone celebrated like +

this tweet went viral making fun of jk’s tattoos. it’s actually really common to see people making fun of his tats, calling them ugly, sloppy, embarrassing, unprofessional, impulsive, the list goes on. armys really don’t deserve to be tattooed on his hand.

it’s extremely normalized to make fun of both jm and jk for EVERYTHING. from their appearances, their personalities, their interests, their performances, their vocals, their actions, their words. they literally can’t breathe without armys making fun of them

i have never seen armys make fun of anyone’s performances the way they do with jungkook. especially euphoria. jungkook literally said he loves euphoria because he gets to fly and see all the armys below him but you just make it into a joke like everything else

yeah you’re right it wasn’t that one tweet from 2017 that made him leave social media. it was the build up of hate 7 years in a row, half of it coming from his own fandom making fun of him and his appearance and interests, and hate #s, spreading his voice cracks when he was sick+

making fun of his weight and his lenses and EVERYTHING, jm has taken some of the worst of the hate over the years, esp 2018, and you are being purposefully ignorant and stupidly optimistic if you think he’s not taking a break from social media to escape the toxicity.
