There are diverse people among protesters including elderly.

It looks like the whole city protesting today. People are throwing apples into police while the police are throwing explosives. MANY are injured.

These are not fireworks but explosives and stun grenades used by riot police against peaceful protesters.

Evidently, police are using disproportionate force to disperse protesters. People just stand and wait, and shout "Long Live Belarus!" Police throw explosives.

Lukashenka and law enforcement are using DISPROPORTIONATE force against peaceful protesters. Again. I did not see people today carrying weapons or threatening public order.

Police officially stated that they did not use explosives, light grenades, or water cannons.

The protests today are taking place in multiple location of Minsk and in at least 12 cities in regions.

In Minsk, when police disperced the protesters at one place, they did appear somewhere else.

Many people are injured. We are collecting information about victims and detainees. I will publish more in the morning

Different types of explosives were used. Not just light grenades. The character of injuries showed that many of them are quite dangerous. Some experts sat that such explosives are not recommended for police use during massive gatherings.

Authorities constantly deny the use of special equipment, rubber bullets, and grenades despite many evidences. I hope no one died today.

This one is spectacular! Riot police in Kobryn (Brest region) put the shields down. Protesters applauded them.

In Minsk and large cities, law enforcement is definitely loyal to Lukashenka. But police in smaller towns will be likely supportive to protesters.

It was at the very beginning of protests today. People just began gathering.
