Yes, @DevinNunes and others have been pointing out for years there was a nexus inside of Cambridge that played a key role in fomenting the Trump RussiaGate Hoax through a series of false & deceptive leaks to the news media.

And as we all know by now, this alleged 'Russian spy' who supposedly 'seduced' Trump's former National Security Advisor, @GenFlynn, is former Cambridge Russian research fellow @RealSLokhova, who Halper picked to be a patsy for his fake leaks in the media targeting General Flynn.

Early on it's true **many** people were assuming Schrage was a part of the RussiaGate hoax, a cog in the machine working to keep the Trump/Russia Collusion narrative up and running.

That was either incorrect or Schrage flipped subsequently and is now making himself a hero.

Awesome. A private citizen came forward and revealed this.

He states he **attempted** to get these recordings to John Durham, but appears to have not heard back yet, so he's going public now.

Everybody see the problem solved here?

Durham coming forward and dropping this before election can't be called a political operation now because a PRIVATE CITIZEN who was in no way affiliated with his criminal investigation is the one who went public with this evidence.

He tried to get it to Durham to no avail! :)

An intriguing fact: Schrage doesn't say **he himself** recorded Halper; he says he "recently discovered" these recordings and attempted to bring them to the attention of US Attorney John Durham.

Another intriguing fact: Schrage says he plans to reveal more in the next several weeks.

Schrage isn't just throwing the spotlight on a desperate-to-hide Halper; he's also revealing the roles other members of the Cambridge Four played in this:

Sir Richard Dearlove
Christopher Andrew
and of course
Christopher Steele.

Guy's not soft selling this at all.

He's comparing his "Cambridge Four" directly to the infamous "Cambridge Five", the Soviet spy ring inside MI:6 that did incalculable damage for decades.

Turns out @carterwpage being invited by Schrage to attend the seminar he put together at Cambridge in July 2016 is what put Page right in the crosshairs of the Cambridge 4.

Following the seminar, Steele suddenly introduces Page as a major player in the Trump campaign collusion.

Yes, Somma and the other FBI involved in Crossfire Hurricane just couldn't believe their 'luck', that by the time Halper approached them to renew his CHS status with the agency, he was already in contact with both @carterwpage & @GeorgePapa19.

Newsflash: this was NOT "luck".

From the framing Schrage is giving this, it appears Halper, who had been fired as a FBI CHS back in 2011, suddenly saw in Page & Papadopoulos in July 2016 his golden ticket back into The Emerald City.

And he quickly took advantage of it.

Correction: Halper was in contact with Page by the time he was rehired as an FBI CHS. He does not appear to have met Papadopoulos yet, but he did reach out to GP very shortly afterwards.

Weird. Schrage seems to be avoiding ever actually using @RealSLokhova's name in this article. He's directly referred to her several times now.

Schrage does make the accurate point that stories casting suspicion on Flynn over his supposedly being 'compromised' by a Russian spy at the 2014 Cambridge CIS dinner did not begin circulating until early 2017, when those stories were used to boost the Trump/Russia hoax.

As I have discussed before, Halper & the FBI CH Team wasted the entire summer trying to get @carterwpage & @GeorgePapa19 to say something incriminating on secretly recorded surveillance tapes and coming up empty.

Having to use Steele's Dossier wasn't the original plan.

As we now know thanks to declassified transcripts of these recorded conversations between Halper, @carterwpage & @GeorgePapa19, the two Trump campaign advisors made no incriminating statements & several times made direct EXCULPATORY statements the FBI ended up suppressing.

Only after months of Halper trying to lead Page & PapaD into saying something incriminating on tape failed did the FBI CH Team suddenly change gears to using the Steele Dossier & Steele's primary subsource [PSS] to get their legal warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.

Here's Schrage's take on how absurd these taping attempts by Halper got:

Halper is actually admitting on the tape he's falling down drunk while he's trying to get Papadopoulos to talk about Russia.

Halper then used a self-serving editorial in The Financial Times to claim the reason he and Sir Richard Dearlove quit the Cambridge Intelligence Seminal [CIS] that they had created was because they had discovered it had been "compromised" by "unacceptable Russian influence".

This was yet again a direct smear made at @RealSLokhova, and it's the closest Halper has come to publicly accusing her of being a Russian agent.

OK pretty clear at this point that Schrage has a reason for not using Lokhova's name in his article even though he's making repeated references to her & how she was viciously picked to be a patsy for this Russian Collusion Hoax targeting Flynn, and then discarded.

Halper's direct role in secretly recording Trump campaign advisers & planting fake stories in the news media to target General Flynn just had another huge spotlight thrown on it in a way that also pulls the Cambridge Four into the mix.

Someone's in big trouble.

Here's how Schrage says it was a contact by Durham's investigators that led him to recently go back and review the recordings he made of Halper..

Schrage says he had a meeting with Halper in Virginia on Jan. 10, 2017, the day before the Flynn leak to the Washington Post.

Well Schrage is certainly 100% correct in this assertion:

Finding out who the Flynn leaker is is the most crucial piece of the puzzle that remains in the Flynn scandal, right next to where that supposedly missing 302 is .

Right here is the most stunning paragraph in Schrage's article.

Remember, he just earlier linked to a column Halper had publicly written for The Financial Times.

He **seems to directly claim that Halper himself is the Flynn phone call leaker**.

And Schrage follows THAT up by revealing Halper's direct connections to the Washington Post columnist who published the Flynn phone call leak on Jan. 11, 2017: @IgnatiusPost

While some, including @SidneyPowell1 like James Baker of the Pentagon's Office of Net Assessment [ONA] for the Flynn leak to the Washington Post, Schrage's take is that it's far more likely the leaker was Halper himself.

There are advantages to being a FBI CHS.

Not only did Mueller's SC Team studiously avoid interviewing or even contacting Schrage, they also made no attempts whatsoever to interview @RealSLokhova or Professor Joseph Mifsud, the supposed Russian agent who allegedly triggered Crossfire Hurricane due to contact with PapaD.

Additionally, on Halper leaking the Flynn phone call himself:

Halper has extensive media contacts because he himself was a longtime political columnist on national set& foreign policy issues. He had a weekly column that ran i 30+ newspapers.

It makes sense for Halper himself to be the leaker or the the facilitator of the Flynn phone call leak because he has extensive media contacts from his days of hobnobbing around DC as political columnist & foreign policy expert.
