I was just sitting down to my morning glass of frothy goat’s milk when Ramjee’s little squirrel brought me the newspaper.
Yes here too, there is no escaping these rags.
The little chap pointed out an article written by you, addressed to me.

I have to confess I was a tad exasperated.
How many times will you assume what I would have said & done ?

My dear girl,
I’m absolutely flattered by your devotion to me & all the times you’ve taken it upon yourself to speak on my behalf.
But I have to tell you that sitting

up here I’ve had ample time to think over several decisions that I took & their consequences.

First of all, if I’d had access to this wondrous thing called Social Media what a different Freedom Movement it would have been !

The instant opinion & feedback of my fellow Indians would’ve guided me & I would have better understood & served their aspirations.
So yes, there is much I would have done differently.

You know this turn the other cheek business & that eye for an eye would make us all blind doesn’t exactly pay off.

I mean look at you poor guys stuck to taking the high moral ground & getting slapped around for 70 years because of me.

Looking down, I see that Narendra Bhai, Amit Bhai & their govt is doing a fairly fine job.

Electricity, healthcare, toilets, LPG, roads, bridges are reaching everybody ....finally !

This Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas is a slogan that is close to my heart.

So Sagarika, my advice to you would be -
Go out. Get a life.
Make some new friends & open your mind to new thoughts.
Don’t live in the past.
Look ahead.
I’m a thinking man. With a life well spent, salvation. I’ve moved on…
Don’t use me or box me in with your own limitations

And remember I had a special affection for Ram & even my last words were a call out to Him, when I knew there was no saving me & I would be soon at his feet.
