The Klansmen who murdered the demonstrators in Greensboro had been ideologically primed to "kill communists." They had killed "communists" in Vietnam and saw nothing wrong with killing them here. They saw it as their duty.

Compare that to the words of Garrick Fernbaugh, whom people have id'd as one of the men who threw improvised explosives at demonstrators in Portland last night.

Take a look at his LinkedIn account. This is not a LARPER chud playing dress up with the boogs to own the libs. This is someone who is unhinged from reality and who has the capability to inflict mass violence. A recipe for disaster.

Once Fernbaugh and others like him believe that "Antifa/BLM" are a Soros backed insurgency equivalent to the people who he had killed and trained others to kill, how long before he just decides to pick up where he left off?

In Belew's book, she notes how the Klansmen were highly trained, motivated, and well armed, in contrast to their leftist opponents who were much more lightly armed and somewhat (and justifiably) skeptical about the effectiveness of arming themselves.

They had seen what had happened to the Black Panthers and the other liberation movements that had taken up arms.

The predicament that we face today is in some ways more dire than what was faced in the late 70's. Trump has effectively green lighted state and white vigilante violence and establishment liberals have neither the will nor the capacity resist

My fear is that we are not looking at the possibility of another Greensboro massacre, but several.
