[youtuber voice] hey guys! a lot of you have been asking me lately for my list of favorite skincare youtubers. hereā€™s a thread
liah yoo

iā€™m always gonna have a soft spot for liah since she was the first skincare youtuber i started watching. she has such a calming presence, and i love how she preaches being gentle with your skin. her skincare brand is also one of my faves
gothamista

when it comes to skincare, i like to keep a balance of following evidence-based advice/not falling for hype and allowing myself to indulge in my routine as part of my self care, and i think renee does a great job at striking that balance
kaya empire

she has a chemical engineering degree, so when it comes to chemistry and the formulation of skincare ingredients, she really knows what sheā€™s talking about. sheā€™s CRIMINALLY underrated go check her out
the golden rx

i first learned about her on here ( @LaBeautyologist), since then sheā€™s put out a lot of great videos showing her perspective as an esthetician. her voice as a Black creator is also very needed in this still white/nbpoc-dominated space
dr dray* (see end of thread)

dr dray is a dermatologist with a huge selection of vids covering tons of topics on skincare (both otc and prescription) and various skin conditions. her advice is always backed by research and her clinical experience
lab muffin beauty science

michelle has a phd in chemistry and uses her channel primarily to break down the science behind skincare. thereā€™s so many conflicting claims made online, so her content really helps to take away some of the confusion
sacheu

sarahā€™s channel isnā€™t strictly skincare-focused, but she still has many videos on the topic and i just love her and her personality. she gives really practical advice that can be especially helpful for ppl with sensitive skin
read before watching dr dray:

i hate to have to bring this up, as many people have commented on it and i donā€™t know how it has impacted her, but many people have speculated from both her physique and her food vlogs that she may have an ED. itā€™s not our place to diagnose her, but
i do understand where the speculation is coming from. i personally donā€™t watch her food vids, and i donā€™t recommend anyone else does bc they can be triggering. you may also find that her appearance alone is triggering for you. i still watch and recommend her skincare vids as i
think theyā€™re a great resource, but everyone should make the judgment for themselves on what is safest and healthiest for them
i've been watching a lot of james welsh lately so i feel like i should add him to this thread. i finally noticed the twice candybong z glowing in the background of this vid so, not only an enjoyable channel, but a man of excellent taste
