Christian Americans:

The USA is not God.
The American Dream is not the Gospel.
Your politician is not the messiah.
Your party is not the church.
Your political persuasion is not *the* truth.
Your hope is not in winning elections.
Your mission is not defeating the other side.

The God Who reveals Himself in the Bible is the one living and true God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - one God in three Persons, infinite, eternal, unchangeable in His being, wisdom, love, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth.
We exist to glorify and enjoy Him forever.

The Gospel is the good news that God the Father so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus of Nazareth) that whoever believes in Him shall not perish eternally, but shall have eternal life. Jesus came to reconcile us to God through his life, death, resurrection.

The Messiah is Jesus Christ, the long-promised Redeemer of God’s people. Everything in Scripture testifies to Him - He is the yes and amen to all the promises God ever made.

He is the ultimate and all-surpassing Treasure. He is making all things new. He is coming again in glory.

The Church is the Beloved, Bride, and Body of Christ - all those throughout the whole world (every tribe, language, nation, people group) and throughout all of history redeemed by Christ through faith. Anyone who repents and believes the Gospel can be a part of God’s family.

Jesus is *the* truth, the only One who can set us free. He is also the way and the life - no one comes to God except through Him. He came, He lived, He died, He rose again - and He has gone to prepare a place for His people, that where He is we may be also.

Our hope is personal & cosmic redemption purposed by the Father, accomplished by the Son, applied by the Spirit. We are made right, forgiven, adopted, and re-created by God, as the first fruits of a new creation wherein he makes all sad things come untrue, all wrong things right.

Our mission is to love God with all we are, to love our neighbors as ourselves, and to announce this good news to everyone, everywhere - to make disciples of Jesus (God the Son) of every nation on earth by the witness and power of God the Spirit to the glory of God the Father.
