Just a reminder... China is a settler colonial state.

China and America are not so different: both sit on thrones of authority, sacrifice the well being out their citizens for profit and power, and extract resources/power from the poor nations of the Global South.

People seem very attached to the modern Chinese capitalist state. We're Anarchists, & by very definition stand against state authority. That said, it is very clear that Mao's China was actually socialist in it's program & economy. Authoritarian, but still authentically communist.

China today would have Mao raging. Introspection and honest analysis is needed by anyone on the left. China is no longer communist.
