-My parents and I are watching Modern Family, there comes a "gender-free" part of the episode basically saying "non-binary rights" my dad groans and says that was painful to hear

8/8/2020:

-Father stats for yet another time that he's boycotting all sports because he "Doesn't want politics in his sports" and calls baseball players communists just because they kneel during the national anthem

8/9/2020:
-parents are believing a right-wing conspiracy theory that says that Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington didn’t commit suicide, but they were murdered.

8/11/2020:

Father makes some “haha Arabian is a terrorist” joke

8/17/2020:

Thought they calmed down with this shit, but another day of them saying "Fuck BLM" and "Mail in voting is probably going to cause voter fraud" and "Antifa are terrorist thugs" and "talking about who to vote for".

My mother basically told me "yeah, we know we're stressing you out about our constant political talk...but we're still gonna do it because we like to listen to fear monger" while pushing fear mongering shit down my throat

Family acknowledges that people kneel during the national anthem to fight against police brutality, but still think it’s disrespectful because apparently they care more about overglorifying and putting so much meaning to a flag than caring about human rights

Good mood this morning gets ruined all because I ask my mother a question. Making me think that I’ve always been afraid of asking people a question more than once on a different time and day because of crap like this happening at home for the longest time.
