If someone is uncomfortable with calling you it/its, don& #39;t call them transphobic.
There is a lot of transphobic history with calling someone an it and a good amount of people are just uncomfortable with it, especially if theyre trans or even just gay, as well.

And before someone says I can& #39;t speak on this "cause I& #39;m cis", then you probably haven& #39;t been around for my gender questioning and probably being non-binary. Also, trans friends of mine have also agree with me on this sooooo yeah
It& #39;s okay if you want to be called it/its because you do you, its your life, your pronouns, but just understand that it& #39;s not something many people who are trans or support trans people and their right REALLY want to be saying because of the history behind the pronouns;;;
For example, I& #39;m white and therefore cannot say the n word but a black friend of me says I can around him. Do I use it around him? No. Because even if he is okay with me saying around him does NOT mean I should. Because it can leak into other conversations with others.
It can also normalize it cause then you& #39;ll be saying it without context of your "permission". Also n-word passes don& #39;t exist so yeah.
Same goes for it/its. Yes, its a bit better in the sense that we use it/its in English conversations every day, but its still got bad history.

So yeah. Just wanted to say why trans/trans allies might not be comfortable calling you an it. Because, in actuality, you& #39;re not an it. You& #39;re a human being worth better treatment. But if thats really what you want to be called, you do you. Just don& #39;t claim transphobia.
Signed, someone who is currently gender questioning but is probably trans aka non-binary, and a transmasc has outspokenly agreed and stated such, and a trans ally.
We just want to treat y& #39;all right and don& #39;t want to normalize these kinds of things with transphobic history;;;

I& #39;ve also noticed it& #39;s mostly minors using them...... I dont think I& #39;ve seen anyone 18+ using those pronouns.........
So many cowards in qrts these days......
