Premier League Best XIs by Club
Which team would come out on top if they all had every one of their players post-1992 to pick from?
All decisions are final, but feel free to disagree as vehemently as you wish.

As always with these things, teams are selected taking into account performance in the league for the relevant club.
Peak performance, longevity and balance are all taken into account.
No silly formations, and players can play for more than one club. Because it’s not real.

Having qualified for the top 20, that’s as far as Sunderland go. Bent & Defoe mean good forward options, but less depth elsewhere.

Ok, they’re all pretty old. But it’s a more fun team than Stoke or West Brom so Portsmouth get a place. Until they’re relegated.

The majority of this team got to a Europa final. But a lack of depth means they suffer over the course of the (made up) season.

It’s a decent team for Palace, lacking star quality. Cabaye gets in despite playing less as they were desperate for creativity.

Zenden RW? I don’t know, they can figure it out. Juninho obviously the star man, while 1-season Ravanelli’s lucky to get in.

Just look at that. Foreign flair aligned with good old-fashioned English grit. Allardyce in his element.

Not sure about that defence, while Lampard might be aggrieved to miss out to Noble’s longevity. But that front three would do pretty well.

Everton, in 13th? It doesn’t feel right, but they’re really lacking stars against other teams who’ve had more fleeting success.

Even if several of these players improved after leaving, a team of this quality around Le Tiss would do well.

That midfield might look a bit iffy, but they were all genuinely excellent for Villa. Benteke just gets the nod over Agbonlahor & Carew.

The title-winning side with a few additions. And plenty of depth on the bench with the lines of Dunn, Bentley, Wilcox & Santa Cruz.

Again, mostly made up of the title-winners plus a few personal favourites. Don’t laugh at Heskey, he was so good when he came through.

Lovely balance to this team, quality all over the park. Not quite enough to break into the non-existent European qualification places though.

Tough call to leave out Ferdinand, but probably better balanced with Beardsley in. Starting to see some really good teams now.

Plenty of options in defence and up-front, with Sheringham, Keane and Klinsmann all missing out. Not bad, this.

The balance doesn’t quite work, it wouldn’t matter. Recency bias in defence for a reason. So many options off the bench too.

This team mostly picked itself. Tempting to put Overmars in but not above Pires and he didn’t play enough at RW.

This team is class. The full-backs a bit of a weak link compared to their peers, but so much quality elsewhere. Tevez & Džeko on the bench.

Ok, this is really good. Robben v J. Cole, Ivanovic v Azpi both a bit of a coin toss, while Makelele & Ballack are decent midfield options too.

Great team, deserving winners. Beckham & RVN probably the most aggrieved to miss out, someone best tell them it’s not real.
No-one seems to disagree with Man Utd as champions, but I’m interested to see who you think should have come 2nd based on the teams selected.
Hoping for not too much club bias on this, maybe wishful thinking. What do you reckon?

If you don’t support any of the above teams, please reply with which you voted for and why!
That might be more reflective than the poll.
