Like bro people care more about pretendians in the twilight franchise than actual native peoples. Not to mention, these films fictionalize genocide and create this narrative that their peoples death resulted from things that aren’t even real, vampires.

thinking about how so many films and shows that have contemporary Native American representation exist to make white peoples feel as comfortable with the fact that they benefit off a system of genocide.
