According to my research, as of August 6th, 10:30pm GMT there are:

19,213,850 confirmed cases and 716,069 deaths worldwide

140,603 confirmed cases and 5,161 deaths in Iraq

2,652 confirmed cases and 66 deaths in Erbil with an average of 200+ cases and 6 deaths a day
According to statistics published by @/visiterbil on Instagram, about 18% of Erbil’s population has been infected by coronavirus.

Hospitals are flooded with patients and they are not able to keep up with the limited resources that they have. (Machines, oxygen tanks and beds)
You can help health officials, yourself, your friends and family by simlpy STAYING AT HOME and only going out when it’s extremely necessary. (Such as, grocery shopping)

While doing so, please WEAR your mask and gloves and disinfect everything you’ve touched while being out.
Those who have a job, PLEASE be SAFE as well by following the recommended health protocol.

Avoid large gatherings and PLEASE practice SOCIAL DISTANCING. (This is recommended for everyone!)
We will only be able to overcome this by following health protocols. Not abiding by them will only put yourself, family, friends and people around you at risk.

STAY HOME.

STAY SAFE.

PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING.
Another fact to consider while being out!

STAY SAFE AND SPREAD AWARENESS!
