Now that #BlackInNeuroWeek is over, we’d like to thank everyone who made this week possible. Thank you ALL for showing up, sharing and celebrating with us. We have exciting things in the works, but are taking a step back now to center more Black & Indigenous voices in STEM.
As one of our community members shared during our social, “When the roots are deep, there’s no reason to fear the wind.” African Proverb

It’s our responsibility to record, recognize and show love to our roots, and continue to support organizations that have BEEN doing this work
We are working towards doing that in a more thorough & permanent way. For now, here are some organizers you should know, cite & pay!

For brevity, we have mainly highlighted Black & Indigenous organizers, but recognize the wonderful work of our non-Black & non-Indigenous allies.
