My current front page is...forgettable.

To fix that, I started by looking at the front page of my favorite bloggers.

What are they showcasing?

Here& #39;s some things I loved about the sites I looked at:
@stephsmithio& #39;s page has a unique, memorable design. Her projects are front and center, reinforcing the & #39;indie hacker& #39; persona.

Neat trick: highlighting makes it easier to quickly scan her bio.

@m_ashcroft& #39;s page immediately lets you know who Michael is and what he& #39;s curious about.

Fantastic line: "My website is how I let the others find me."

@sivers starts his page with two versions of his bio:

Me in 10 seconds
Me in 10 minutes

A very minimal site, zero fluff. It suits Derek so well!

@visakanv hits you in the face with his mission, then backs it up.

Every section aligns with his mission, showing you why he& #39;s good at building social graphs and how he& #39;s working to build a larger one. A casual photo reinforces the friendly vibe.

@aaronzlewis is an amazing designer and it shows because his front page is beautiful! A must see.

Super clever: a selector with 4 different bios for 4 different audiences
